2021 CONFERENCE CANCELLED
Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that the EAC Board of Directors announces that the planned conference in May, 2021, is cancelled. As you may remember, we initially postponed our conference from May 2020 to May 2021. At the time of this initial decision this seemed prudent and in line with what other conferences were doing. While there is now a worldwide immunization roll out under way, we do not believe that its timing (both locally and internationally) gives us enough time to be able to mount the in-person conference that we had intended. Thus, we are cancelling our May 2021 conference.
While we sorrow over the loss of this opportunity to come together as a community of practice, I want to leave you with two more hopeful announcements. Firstly, the board has decided to offer some of the intended talks/workshops as single-day webinars throughout 2021. More information about these events will be forthcoming. Furthermore, we remain committed to having - eventually - an in-person conference. The board will make the decision about the timing of this conference as we gain more information about when such events can again be offered safely.
